This article will teach you how to establish a new custom field with the correct search logic.

The first step is to add a new custom field. Go to Listivo Panel -> Custom Fields -> Add New Field.

Write down Your field name and set the type as Taxonomy. Only this field type allows selecting the search logic.

Find your new field on the custom fields list and edit it.

You can set the value 'and' or 'or'.

The value 'and' allows you to choose one selection. Your listing must meet all the specified criteria. Below, you will find an example. The custom field 'Features' has a search logic set as 'and'. Your search results meet all the selected criteria at the same time. In the example below, only one car meets all the requirements.

The value 'or' allows you to choose more than one selection. Below, you will find an example. The custom field 'Transmission' has a search logic set as 'or'. Your search results meet all the selected criteria but not simultaneously. You will see cars with automatic (8 cars) and manual (7) transmissions.
